Tenon Cutters

Tenon Cutters are what you use to taper the end of a piece of wood to fit into the mortise (hole). Tenons are a common method of joining pieces in log furniture making...as well as building log or rustic style railings.

Tenon Cutters are now available in a Router powered style as well as the Drill powered style.

In the "drill powered" tenon cutters, which look a bit like oversize pencil sharpeners, we currently offer two brands of professional quality tenon cutters.

These "drill powered" tenon cutters feature a 60 degree shoulder (see photo at right). 
All 3 brands will work in our Drill Carriage and Clamping devices to allow you high volume capabilities in your log and rustic furniture building. 

The "router powered" tenon maker is a more portable unit that is both easier on the pocketbook and suitable for both weekend log furniture maker and professionals. (the designer of the LogMan Tenon Maker is a full time log furniture maker).
