Comparison of Husqvarna 334T, 336 and 338XPT

So what's the major differences between these three saws?

334T has been slightly downgraded to the "farmer and rancher" saw. Using an "open port" cylinder that is less expensive to manufacture and provides less performance than a "closed port" system. Still a good unit, just not designed for the daily grind that a professional user would put a saw through.

336 uses the same engine technology as the 334T and comes in a rear handle design.

338XPT has several upgrades and is more similar to the older 335xpt. Special alloy cylinder, smart start for easier starts. Comes with "closed port" cylinder for better power
